Leak Detection in Floors

Floors exposed to water can leak for a variety of reasons: e.g. pipe penetrations, expansion joint failure or simply inadequate waterproofing.

 

At Thornton Consulting, , we have a wide range of inspection equipment and test methods which, added to our knowledge base and understanding of such constructions, enables us to locate leak sources in minimal time and often with little or no disruption to the occupants.

On occasion, however, we can be be defeated by lack of information on design and construction or where sections of floor are inaccessible.  Under such circumstances, we can provide advisory services to the client, either by mitigating the extent or effects of the leaks or by guiding them to procuring the necessary facilities and information to bring it to a conclusion.
