Thornton Consulting was established in 1986 and encompasses the brand Leaktector, which pioneered the electronic testing for leaks in flat roof waterproofing membranes.
The management team have a over 70 years of combined experience between them and are specialists in their area. We have a highly qualified team of consultants and engineers that cover the UK.

Sam Audsley
Director
Sam joined Thornton Consulting in 2001 and has more than 20 years experience in the industry having trained with the company under Steve Thornton.
As co-owner and director he is involved with all aspects of testing as well as development of processes and procedures, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of the industry.

Simon Thompson
Director
Simon started at Thornton Consulting in 2000 and has over 20 years experience in both electronic waterproofing integrity testing and structural leak investigations.
Simon represents the company with RAWTA (our trade association) and as a co-owner of the company he is looking forward to maintaining the companies position at the forefront of the leak detection industry.

Wendy Belding
Director
Wendy has been with the company since 1999 and worked her way from Office Administrator to becoming a co-owner. Wendy has undertaken Management and Leadership courses to ensure the delivery of the best solutions that the company can offer clients in terms of customer service, professionalism and implement change. Wendy prides herself on her enthusiasm and good sense of humour to build a great rapport with existing and new clients.
